The Talossan national anthem, by King Robert I.

Chirluscha àl Glheş

Sta là, zefença
Tu vell glheş Talossan.
Txamais praitença
Da negarh tu drept şuman!

Es ca'scu ziua,
Ár propreu glheş parlarh;
Sovenenç' la tzara,
Talossan c'e ben d'estarh!

Va, desaverscha
Talossan sè grült traval.
Acest daßerc'ha
Ár voce naziunal!

Glheş da Talossa,
Aprenda, parla, scriitz;
Fäts aceasta cosa,
Eda resta incognits!

Noi sint l'espereux
Dad ár ancient glheş corteis–
Mimtenença sondreux
Toct ár cünsuetüds vischceis!

Oxhi sonora
'n pliada antalour:
"¡Crid' cadascu şora
Qe eu non sint Cestour!"

Hymn to the Language
(English translation)

Stand there, defend
Your old Talossan language.
Never pretend
To deny your human right!

And every day,
Speak our own language:
Remind the world
That it's good to be Talossan!

Go, consummate
The great work of Talossan.
This revives
Our national voice!

Language of Talossa,
Learn it, speak it, write it,
Do this thing,
Or remain hidden!

We are the hopes
Of our ancient gallant speech–
Keep distinct
All our cheerful customs!

Today sounds
An intelligent cry:
Shout every hour
That I am no Cestour!

(English translation
by Sir C. M. Siervicül)

NOTE: The English lyrics above are a translation of the Talossan version, and are not the same as the lyrics (written by Düc Ian A. von Metairia) which constitute the official English version of the Talossan national anthem.
